First Week Guide Use this guide to sign in, find your assigned learning, begin your first lesson, and get help.Before you beginHave the email address used to register you for your organization’s Udacity learning program. Use this same email address every time you sign in. If your organization uses single sign-on (SSO), choose the organization sign-in option and follow your company’s login process.Get started1- Go to Udacity and sign inVisit udacity.com, select Log In, and enter your registered work email address. If this is your first visit, follow the instructions you received to set your password. If SSO is enabled for your organization, use the organization sign-in option and you will be directed to sign in with your organization's credentials. *Note: If this is your first sign-in, follow the password-setup instructions in your Welcome or Activation email. If you do not see the email: Check your spam, junk, promotions, and organization-filtered mail folders. Search for an email from Udacity using the name of your organization or learning program. Confirm that you are checking the inbox associated with your registered email address. If your organization uses SSO, click this link to sign-in with your organization. If you forgot your passwordOn the Udacity Sign In page, select 'Forgot your password.' Enter the email address associated with your Udacity account, then follow the instructions in the reset email. 2- Check your DashboardAfter signing in, you will land on your Dashboard. Use it to view active programs or learning plans, resume courses in progress, monitor your progress, and access Help Center or Knowledge. 3- Open your assigned learning planSelect the assigned learning plan, or program from your Dashboard. Review the overview, learning objectives, and any completion expectations provided. Then select Start or Resume to enter the course. 4- Complete your first lessonUse the course navigation to move through lesson videos, summaries, transcripts, exercises, and other resources. Complete lessons in sequence, as later lessons may build on earlier concepts. 5- Use learning support when you are blockedUse Udacity AI where it is available in your classroom to clarify lesson content, ask for another example, or troubleshoot an issue. For account, access, or technical issues, review the Help Center, reach out to mentors in Knowledge for technical assistance, or contact Support. 6- Track your progressReturn to your Dashboard to review indicators such as lessons completed, learning time, concepts mastered, or overall progress. 7- Plan your next visitBefore leaving, note where you stopped and schedule your next learning session. When you return, select Resume to continue from where you left off. Your first-week checklist Sign in with the email address registered by your organization. Confirm that your assigned program, learning plan, or course appears on the Dashboard. Review the program overview and completion expectations. State your target study time and completion date. Complete the first required lesson or learning activity. Locate the Help Center, Community, and Udacity AI channels available to you. Review your progress and schedule your next learning session.
